dad, how do they get a bugs bunny drawing to move

i woke up super early this morning when my littlest couldn't sleep because he is sick. against my plan not to, i ended up getting high. my husband is gatekeeping the edibles now so i don't run out so fast. i opened bear blog up to start drafting today's post, but i couldn't think of a topic. it's been a slow day, a day the babies are off from school, voting day in the u.s., surprisingly warm outside. we went to the grocery store and bought $350 worth of whatever. grocery prices don't just upset me they make me want to convulse until my barbie arms pop out of my barbie arm sockets.

i went on a walk with my littlest, now he's feeling much better and eating i wanted to get him outside too. he probably won't go to school tomorrow even tho i'd really like him to. my husband has been the one keeping up with his unhealth, which i appreciate. the medicine, the vomit, getting him to eat and stuff.

i just read a blog post on here in which they described the impressive parts of a movie as the delicious stuff on a cracker. the cracker being the movie i think. is it rude to talk about a blog i just read like this i dont really care im sorry. with my kids if i wanted them to understand why i like a seemingly weird movie, i would describe why i like a seemingly weird movie specifically. "they didn't have a lot of money to spend on this movie, so what they were able to do is awesome! the actors pull off dangerous stunts they would use computers to animate now. there were multiple makeup and special effects artists who stood for hours applying layers of makeup to the actors, just for them to to be shown for 5 minutes!" the author didn't caveat themselves to death and im not going to ask them to but any ways.

i have one billion memories of my dad simply literally explaining the physical world around me. they were explanations that took time and led to conversations and so many ah-ha moments in the future. dad, how do they get a bugs bunny drawing to move? "well, they have to draw him, then draw him again but moved a little, and then again, but moved only a little more, and they do this many times over, 24 or more pictures for each one second that passes in the show. when you flip through all of the pictures, bugs bunny moves."

i just find it very important to express yourself and speak directly to your kids. showing them technically powerful stuff (like a drawing program) and backing up is a killer strat too, it gets them to experiment quietly. but otherwise like, use your words!! your dialogue with them since day 1 becomes their inner monologue. when my dad answered me about animation, he taught me 1. how cartoons are animated, 2. it only takes a minute or two to explain, 3. you can explain things with physical humor (he was slow motion frame by frame posing haha), and 4. that i am worth that bit of time, and honestly that in turn showed me that people are worth that bit of time. people will get it when you trust that they will get it (and if they wanted to know). he also showed me he loves me aww ^_^

not fact checked but i picked up on the possibility that boys (children) are spoken to in shorter sentences than girls. for the love of fucking fuck you absolutely have to speak to every child in full fucking sentences!! "wow your kids are so well read! well spoken! well behaved! so aware and tuned in! so clever! so funny!" i have insisted on nothing less?? i can't be mommy blogging i'm too mean for this. your conditions are your life, it all may feel parallel to you but the people in your life have major influence on you. a child's conditions are their life, it all may feel parallel to you but you have major influence on them. use your words it is of a most important creed relating to the rights of the child.
