the hollow

changeling gir

i gave in, i am getting high. i am naturally hesitant to blog every fail girl moment especially since i so often love to write my intentions and then let myself down, but recording the let downs is new to me and i'm experimenting a little here at the hollow. i still want to make room for our stuff from storage, and make the kitchen usable again. i also need to make a grocery order. these are sentences that are so boring and tedious. writing them, reading them.

i have to get out.

currently thinking about invader zim, i was thinking about gir through the frame of a changeling, a baby swapped out for another. i love changeling tales as much as i hate them. possibly subjectively i see them as really really sad stories about autism. being seen for who you are and then suddenly seen as something [other] is freakier than being the other person who will act like they met an alien. i've been here the whole time... but that scares them even more. gir is meant to be an obedient, prepared assistant robot. but from my memory his head contains a scoop of random parts and cogs, and was never going to be assigned to anyone.

gir, tho, is never ever phased by these circumstances, in fact it's important that it never occurs to him. it cannot it does not. he doesn't feel out of place he is immune to that. naively excited to be anywhere, and under zim's watch, completely harmless. he is unshackled by the changeling fate.

another funny thing about invader zim is that earth is such a joke to other alien life they sent their least capable guy to earth to get zim out of their hair. it is also juicy the measure is height, because anyone who sweats their height is having a zim moment in my eyes now.

starting a blog and finishing it the next day was not my intention but it happened haha. my brother came over and we hung out like we usually do.
